Summer - it's here!

Today started the new summer schedule. No Sunday school classes and Sunday morning worship services will start at 10 o'clock.

We've got a lot scheduled for this summer including:

• Movie Wednesday - kids can go with Melissa each Wednesday morning for a movie at 10 a.m.
• Hawaiian Sunday - June 13 - wear your tropical fare and bring a dish or two to share in potluck following. Meat will be provided.
• Pond Show - Saturday, June 26 - more details to follow.
• Vacation Bible School - Wednesday - Friday, July 14-16. Ages 6-12. Contact Melissa, Teresa or Tori for more details.
• Waye Memorial Golf Tourney - July 24. Contact Gary for additional details.

April Events

Spring has sprung and with it comes our spring-time events.

Please join us Saturday, April 17, when we have our spring clean up at the church from 9 am - noon. We'll provide lunch for those who have helped with the various projects around the church.

RSVP if you'd like to join us on Saturday, April 25, for the Progressive Dinner. We'll be having appetizers at Laura and Randy's home, then travel to John and Peggy's home for the main course. A short trek to Pueblo West to Marilyn's home for yummy desserts. Please let Nolan or Tori know if you can attend. The first course starts at 4:30 pm.

If you missed the Ladies Breakfast today, you missed out on some mighty fine food. Patti's Restaurant hosted the breakfast for about 19 women. The directive for each woman was to pray for the woman on her left for the next week. So don't forget who you were supposed to pray for!

Membership Sunday is on April 26. If you want to become a member of Light and Life Church, then please let Pastor Mark know soon as the board meets in the next week or so to vote.

Keep checking in for future events as well as sermon topics. Pastor Mark has a great sermon in line for Sunday, although the topic wasn't available for this post.

Agape Banquet

Friday, February 12, many couples as well as singles took time from their busy Valentine's Weekend to attend the Agape Banquet held at the church.

The food was deliciously catered and enjoyed by all in attendance. Brothers Matt and Christoper helped to serve the roast, chicken, roasted potatoes, and yummy red velvet cake.

Entertainment was provided by the Sankey Sisters. If you have never heard these angels sing, you are missing out! They are from a talented music loving family.

All had a good time and look forward to next year's banquet.
